Se reseña Identidad en cuestión y compromiso político. Los emigrados germanohablantes en América del Sur de Sandra Carreras, investigadora del Instituto Ibero-americano de Berlín. La siguiente crítica destaca, por un lado, la pluralidad de investigaciones que esta obra recopila en relación al campo de estudios sobre la emigración y la presencia germanoparlante en América Latina y el valor que esta obra representa en la consolidación del mismo. Por otro, la exposición del abanico de (re)planteos identitarios y compromisos políticos experimentados por diferentes colectivos e individualidades germanohablantes en la región, especialmente durante el periodo 1933-1945.
It is reviewed Identity in question and political commitment. German-speaking emigrants in South America by Sandra Carreras, a researcher at the Ibero-American Institute in Berlin. The following review highlights, on the one hand, the plurality of research that this work collects about emigration and the German-speaking presence in Latin America and the value this work represents in the consolidation of this field of study. Besides, the exhibition of the range of (re)identitarian approaches and political commitments experienced by different groups and individuals German-speaking in the region, especially during the period 1933-1945.
É revisada a pesquisa Identidad en cuestión y compromiso político. Los emigrados germanohablantes en América del Sur, feita por Sandra Carreras, pesquisadora do Instituto Ibero-Americano de Berlim. A crítica que se segue destaca a pluralidade de investigações que este trabalho recolhe em relação ao campo de estudos sobre a emigração e a presença germanófona na América Latina e o valor que este trabalho representa para a sua consolidação. Assim como, a exposição do leque de (re)propostas identitárias e de experiências políticas vividas por diferentes coletivos e indivíduos de língua alemã da região, especialmente no período 1933-1945.
