Desde el punto de vista territorial o sectorial, los ejercicios de prospectiva representan una de las herramientas más útiles en los procesos de planificación. Si a un ejercicio prospectivo le incorporamos la perspectiva territorial su alcance será mucho más importante. No obstante, los gobiernos en Latinoamérica no parecen muy interesados en esta importante herramienta. Este trabajo realiza una revisión sobre las prácticas de prospectiva territorial para el caso de México.
From a territorial or sectoral point of view, foresight exercises represent one of the most useful tools in the planning process. If a prospective exercise incorporates a territorial perspective, its scope will be much more important. However, governments in Latin America do not seem to be very interested in this important tool. This paper reviews the practices of territorial foresight in the case of Mexico.
