Description
El objetivo de este trabajo es analizar las prácticas de sostenibilidad de la vida de las y los trabajadores bananeros frente a las múltiples precariedades y violencias desarrolladas bajo el modelo agroindustrial extractivista del sector en Ecuador. La indagación se sitúa en la provincia de Los Ríos, centro de operaciones de las empresas bananeras en el país, donde disponen tanto de recursos naturales como del uso intensivo de la fuerza de trabajo.
The objective of this work is to analyze the practices of sustainability of the life of the banana workers in the fase of the multiple precariousness and violence developed under the extractivist agro-industrial model of the sector in Ecuador. The investigation is located in the province of Los Rios, the center of operations of the banana companies in the country, where they have both natural resources and the intensive use of the workforce.
