Tesis cuyo objetivo es conocer la percepción de los beneficiarios de la Estrategia para la Erradicación de la Pobreza Extrema Red Unidos en el Municipio de Lebrija, Santander, Colombia, respecto a indicadores de capital humano (salud, educación, nutrición, necesidades básicas, NBI); indicadores de capital social (emprendimiento, participación, asociación y reconocimiento social), caracterizando socio-demográficamente a la población, evaluando la percepción del proceso de intervención social. Metodológicamente es un estudio descriptivo-analítico, con enfoque mixto, se realizó un trabajo de campo en el cual aplicó una encuesta a 137 beneficiarios; los resultados reportan una valoración positiva de la Estrategia Red Unidos, que contribuye a la reducción de los efectos e impactos de la pobreza, sin que realmente esto permita salir de la situación de precariedad, para lo cual necesita promover otras capacidades y estrategias que vayan más allá del enfoque
asistencialista. Estos Programas de Transferencias Condicionadas (PTC) son parte de políticas públicas que buscan corregir las desigualdades del sistema capitalista, sin entrar a cuestionar las causas que la generan, dentro de un contexto económico neoliberal, en donde la redistribución de la riqueza no es equitativa.
Thesis whose objective is to know the perception of the beneficiaries of the Strategy for the Eradication of Extreme Poverty Red Unidos in the Municipality of Lebrija, Santander, Colombia, regarding human capital indicators (health, education, nutrition, basic needs, NBI); indicators of social capital (entrepreneurship, participation, association and social recognition), characterizing the population socio-demographically, evaluating the perception of the social intervention process. Methodologically it is a descriptive-analytical study, with a mixed approach, a field work was carried out in which a survey was applied to 137 beneficiaries; the results report a positive assessment of the Red Unidos Strategy, which contributes to the reduction of the effects and impacts of poverty, without this really allowing us to get out of the precarious situation, for which it needs to promote other capacities and strategies that go beyond the welfare approach. These Conditional Transfer Programs (PTC) are part of public policies that seek to correct the inequalities of the capitalist system, without questioning the causes that generate it, within a neoliberal economic context, where the redistribution of wealth is not equitable.
