Description
Occidente parece haber llegado a la realización de su proyecto económico: el de la universalización de la comunicación, de la producción y de la circulación bajo las reglas del mercado. Hasta el último rincón del mundo se extendieron las pautas del consumo occidental y el mercado se presenta como el único mediatizador eficiente del trabajo socialmente empleado, mientras la racionalidad europea tiende a dominar todas las expresiones de la existencia humana. Al fin, tanto las economías de subsistencia como la planificación estatal, tuvieron que dejar lugar a la economía capitalista la que se va imponiendo como la forma universal de síntesis social.
