Description
Discutir sobre cuerpos y sexualidades cuando ya termina la primera década del siglo XXI puede parecer un brusco salto sin que se hayan quemado etapas previas. Hace ya algún tiempo Ecuador Debate en el Tema Central del número 59, recogió los enfoques sobre lo femenino. Desde hace más de una década la cuestión de las sexualidades se ha ido tornando visible en la sociedad ecuatoriana. La despenalización de la homosexualidad fue un momento de cambio que dio lugar a demandas sobre derechos y la propuesta del reconocimiento de identidades sexuales, lo que conlleva a que en la nueva Constitución se hallan reconocidas las diversidades sexuales e incluso algunos derechos relacionados.
