El libro de Úrsula Poeschel-Renz representa una excelente indagación histórica de un conflicto entre el pueblo Salasaca y una familia de señores locales, acerca de la posesión y el uso del agua. A través del uso de distintas fuentes que se conjugan alrededor del conflicto, la autora organiza un libro de fácil lectura, de estilo agraciado, comprensible e interesante también para un público no especializado y poco familiar con los temas debatidos. Un libro muy sugerente y que bien se presta como `pretexto´ para una serie de análisis que van en múltiples direcciones.
