Description
Trabajé para la United Fruit en los años 50. (El trabajo de plantación) era duro. Estábamos agotados y los capataces te hacían trabajar. Los trabajadores no bromeaban como lo hacen hoy en día. Ahora es como una fiesta en algunas plantaciones. Hasta contratan a mujeres (risas). En la época de (la United Fruit) no habían mujeres. Ninguna. El trabajo era muy duro. Comenzábamos a trabajar en la oscuridad y nos íbamos después del atardecer. Pero nos pagaban bien. La compañía cuidaba de nosotros. Trabajador antiguo de la plantación de United Fruit.
