El artículo analiza, a partir del caso colombiano, las implicaciones políticas de la presencia pública de las manifestaciones colectivas a favor de la legalización de la marihuana en el marco actual de discusión sobre la pertinencia de la guerra contra las drogas ilegales. La conjetura central del texto es que esas manifestaciones colectivas expresan una forma de acción ciudadana. Para sustentar la argumentación, el artículo aborda tres aspectos: la guerra contra las drogas y sus víctimas, el ciudadano consumidor de marihuana y la legalización.
The article analyzes, from the Colombian case, the political implications the public presence of the collective’s demonstrations in favor of the legalization of marijuana in current discussion on the relevance of the war against illegal drugs. The text’s central conjecture asserts that these demonstrations express a form of collective citizen action. To support the argument, the paper focuses on three aspects: the drug war and his victims, consumers of marijuana citizens and the legalization.
