Abstract
Description
La solicitud presentada por el Consejo Provincial del Guayas ante el Tribunal Electoral de dicha provincia, con el fin de obtener que este organismo convoque a una consulta popular sobre la autonomía, ha subrayado y, al mismo tiempo, intensificado el debate nacional sobre el tema de la descentralización. Otras provincias están al borde de embarcarse en el mismo rumbo y sumarse a la presión –por momentos abrumadora- que se ejerce sobre el Congreso Nacional para que considere prontamente dicho tema.
