Description
El inicio de un nuevo período presidencial marca un profundo cambio cualitativo en la conflictividad social y política del país: de un escenario marcado por los inconvenientes causados por el Fenómeno del Niño y por el problemático cese de funciones de la Asamblea Constituyente, pasamos ahora a un panorama signado por un frontal rechazo, desde diversos sujetos sociales, a la política económica que ha adoptado el gobierno de Jamil Mahuad.
