El presente trabajo pretende abordar las estrategias utilizadas por la telenovela argentina Montecristo. Un amor, una venganza en el proceso de construcción de su verosímil social. Parte de la hipótesis de que esta ficción televisiva, que ha marcado un estilo nuevo dentro de la programación por sus historia,estética y producción,ha incorporado en su relato una problemática histórica inédita para el género a través del registro de lo testimonial.
