In this work the scientific paradigms in which the genetic modified organisms were developed are analysed, and how the right of nature are violated, since in the process of developing then, the DNA structure is altered and consequently, the functions of the manipulated organisms, with impacts on the biological cycles and the processes of evolution. The Constitution of Ecuador on rights of nature is the base to analyse violations occurring at the stage of commercial production and handling of GM crops.

En este trabajo se analizan los paradigmas científicos bajo los cuales se desarrollaron los cultivos genéticamente modificados, y cómo se viola los derechos de la naturaleza al alterar la estructura del ADN y con ello las funciones de los organismos manipulados; lo que deviene en impactos en los ciclos biológicos y en los procesos evolutivos. Se utiliza el texto incorporado en la Constitución del Ecuador sobre derechos de la naturaleza, para analizar violaciones que ocurren en la etapa de manipulación y de producción comercial de los cultivos transgénicos.
