El objetivo del artículo es analizar el significado sociológico de la transición de un sistema de partido hegemónico a un sistema de partidos hegemónico en México. Esta reflexión permitiría construir explicaciones acerca del papel que tuvo la forma partido en la reproducción de la debilidad de la capacidad organizativa de la sociedad mexicana; lo que se ilustrará de manera general a través del conflicto protagonizado por la Asamblea Popular de Pueblos de Oaxaca.
The article aims analyze the sociological meaning of the transition from a hegemonic party system to a hegemonic party system in Mexico. This reflection would construct explanations about the role played by the party form in the reproduction of the weakness of the organizational capacity of Mexican society that is generally illustrated by the organizational experience of the Popular Assembley of Peoples of Oaxaca.
