El artículo analiza de qué modo la concepción de justicia transicional, comprendida desde los marcos de la teoría del reconocimiento, permite una nueva lectura sobre los límites y posibilidades del proceso transicional brasileño. Para ello se considerarán las potencialidades del contexto de las acciones implementadas por la Comisión de Amnistía del Ministerio de Justicia brasileño y las dificultades que el proceso transicional del país impone a una agenda política cuyo principal reto es la profundización de la democracia.
The aim of this paper is to analyze how the concept of transitional justice, as seen from the theory of recognition, can give a new reading on the limits and possibilities of the Brazilian political transition. For that will be considered the potential of the context of the actions implemented by the Amnesty Commission of the Brazilian Ministry of Justice and the difficulties that the country’s transitional process imposes to a political agenda whose main challenge is the deepening of democracy.
