Desde una perspectiva de género, este trabajo explora como se incorpora a mujeres en una policía local y lo que esta incorporación representa para ellas. Se investiga la construcción del sujeto policial que ellas realizan desde de el ingreso, formación y permanencia en la institución, descubriendo las relaciones de género que se establecen.
This paper intends to understand, from the point of view of gender, the process of admission of women to a local police force, uncovering gender relations in the stages of entrance training, and daily work, and what this process means to policewomen and the institution. Research emphasizes on how women deal with the process of social construction of the police person.
