Estudios recientes sobre el empleo rural han puesto de relevancia el creciente aumento de distintas modalidades de intermediación de mano de obra y cómo estas van trasformando paulatinamente las relaciones laborales en el país. Tomando como referencia estas investigaciones, en este artículo se observan las tendencias generales de la intermediación laboral y se plantean algunas de sus posibles consecuencias en el mercado de empleo y las condiciones de trabajo en el agro uruguayo.
Recent studies focused on the rural employment shows the increasing growth of the variety of labor intermediation methods and how those mechanisms gradually transform the labor relations in the country. Based on these investigations, in this article the general tendencies of labor market intermediation can be analyzed, showing some possible consequences inside the employment market and the working conditions in the Uruguayan agricultural sector.
