Los enlaces calientes son los lugares del crimen georeferenciados por los sistemas informáticos de seguimiento de delitos en las ciudades. De allí la importancia para las urbes de contar a su servicio de plataformas informáticas, alimentadas por sistemas de georeferenciación y estadisticas espaciales del crimen, que permitan identificar en el mapa urbano los enlaces calientes y monitorear su magnitud.
