Concluido el decenio Fujimorista, se produjeron en el Perú una serie de cambios, sustanciales dentro de las instituciones públicas. Entre ellos, se destacan los que se dieron en el Ministerio del Interior que incluye a la Policía Nacional y la reforma del Sistema de Justicia2. Con estos cambios, se elaboran medidas básicas dirigidas, principalmente, a mejorar la convivencia y la seguridad ciudadana. Como parte de ellas se modifica el procedimiento para las faltas y se crea un proyecto piloto que instala Jueces de Paz Letrado dentro de las Comisarías...
