El presente artículo pretende realizar un recorrido por los principales estudios internacionales realizados, principalmente en los Estados Unidos, sobre la representación de las minorías étnicas en la ficción televisiva. Conocer los principales estudios e investigadores permitirá saber qué representación se está ofreciendo de la migración en los medios de comunicación, en especial en la televisión. Este artículo pretende acercar al lector a los principales estudios realizados así como a las conclusiones a las que se llegaron.
The present article tries to provide the overview of the principal international studies produced, mainly in the USA, on the representation of the ethnic minorities in the fictional television. Knowing the most important studies and investigators will enable us to know what is the representation of the migration in the mass media and especially in the television. This article tries to make the reader aware of the main studies produced so far as well as the conclusions we drew.
Este artigo tem como objetivo fazer um tour dos principais estudos internacionais, principalmente os EUA, sobre a representação das minorias étnicas na ficção televisiva. Conhecer os principais estudos e pesquisadores vão saber o que está sendo oferecido representação da migração na mídia, especialmente na televisão. Este artigo tem como objetivo trazer o leitor para os principais estudos e as conclusões que foram alcançadas.
