Las reformas al poder judicial en Ecuador emprendidas durante el Gobierno de Rafael Correa han suscitado un número importante de reflexiones en el medio académico. La mayoría de los analistas se enfocaron en evaluar sus fundamentos legales y constitucionales, así como los impactos en la independencia de este poder estatal. Sin embargo, menos atención recibieron los mecanismos concretos de cambio institucional sobre los cuales han reposado estas iniciativas.
The reforms to the judiciary in Ecuador undertaken during the government of Rafael Correa have given rise to a significant number of reflections in the academic world. Most analysts have focused on evaluating their legal and constitutional basis, as well as their impact on the independence of this state power. However, less attention has been paid to the concrete mechanisms of institutional change on which these initiatives were based.
