La incorporación del enfoque de la diversidad sexogenérica en el Plan de Ordenamiento Territorial de la ciudad de Pereira, Colombia, constituye un logro histórico en el actual escenario de resistencias institucionales ante las políticas públicas que contemplan a las diferencias sexuales. En este artículo se analiza dicho logro representado por la población LGBTI, específicamente trans, dentro de la estructura de poder de un Estado nación masculinizado, cuyos agentes se encargan de la planificación territorial. Se fusionan teorías feministas, geografías de la sexualidad y teorías queer, con el objetivo de explicar la conexión entre estas políticas, los sujetos implicados y la ocupación del territorio para el trabajo sexual.
The incorporation of a sex-gender diversity approach in the Plan of Territorial Organization of the city of Pereira, Colombia, constitutes a historical achievement in the current scenario of institutional resistance to public policies that contemplate sexual differences. This article analyzes this achievement of the LGBTI population –specifically trans, within the power structure of a masculinized nation state, whose agents are in charge of territorial planning. Feminist theories, geographies of sexuality, and queer theories merged, with the aim of explaining the connection between these policies, the subjects involved, and the occupation of territory for sex work.
