Description
La intervención del Estado en políticas de conservación y en infraestructura turística pública en áreas naturales protegidas debe ser asumida financieramente por los usuarios que perciben sus beneficios. Estas áreas suministran una gran variedad de bienes y servicios ambientales, los cuales no tienen un precio de mercado que permita determinar su verdadero valor económico. Los métodos de preferencias pueden utilizarse para determinarlo, a través de la disposición a pagar (DAP) por mejoras asociadas a políticas de cambio en conservación y en turismo en un área natural como Choquequirao (CHOQ).
The intervention of the State in conservation policies and in public tourist infrastructure in natural pro- tected areas (NPA) must be assumed financially by the users who perceive its benefits. These NPAs provide a wide variety of environmental goods and services that do not have a market price to determine their real economic value. The preference methods can be used to determine this economic value through the willing- ness to pay (WTP) for the improvements associated with change policies in conservation and tourism in a natural area such as Choquequirao. This economic instrument will allow raising funds to implement natural and cultural conservation policies and tourist policies in the NPA.
