Si bien el debate de la despenalización es un tema abordado desde hace mucho tiempo, las propuestas surgidas en los últimos años no parecen centrarse en el espíritu libertario de la elección individual del consumo o la discusión moral respecto al real impacto de las drogas psicotrópicas en la salud pública.
