He leído con el más vivo interés el libro publicado por Ud. ‘‘Rangos históricos del 11 de Agosto de 1911”; y muy sinceramente felicito á Ud. por haber sido el primero en darnos á conocer los antecedentes y las circunstancias que vinieron preparando aquella fecha tan memorable, que sin duda alguna hará época en nuestra desventurada historia política; y felicitole asimismo por la parte muy principal que ha tenido Ud. en el desenvolvimiento de tan hermoso drama social que puso fin á la tiranía del más funesto de los gobiernos. Siempre reconocí en Ud. un gran patriota, un liberal puro y desinteresado, un carácter incorruptible.
