El artículo analiza cómo la literatura académica hegemónica sobre la problemática mili¬tar, los estudios sobre las transiciones de los regímenes políticos y las relaciones civiles-mi¬litares, más allá de sus innegables aportes, no permiten investigar la esfera interfuerzas. En este sentido, la relevancia de la “conjuntez” en la historia argentina conduce a una serie de interrogantes que no pueden ser abordados a través de dichos enfoques. A partir de una revisión crítica del concepto “control civil”, este trabajo propone su redefinición, con el objetivo de avanzar hacia la búsqueda de un instrumental analítico adecuado para indagar en aquellas áreas descuidadas por los estudios tradicionales.
This article analyzes how academic hegemonic literature on issues surrounding the mi¬litary studies on the transitions of different political regimes, and civil-military relations does not allow for an investigation on the inter-force field. In this respect, the relevance of “jointness” in Argentine history leads to a number of questions that cannot be tac¬kled using either one of those different approaches. Employing a critical revision of the concept “civil control,” this article proposes a conceptual redefinition in order to move forward on the quest for an adequate analytical instrument that allows for enquiring into areas that have been neglected by traditional research.
