dc.descriptionRepensar las ciudades en el marco de las condiciones actuales no solo exige reconocer y analizar la complejidad de sus problemas, sus orígenes y posibles tendencias, sino que el reto va mucho más allá. Se trata de superar las formas tradicionales de interpretación para acercarnos de mejor manera al conocimiento pleno de las realidades concretas, y así contribuir realmente a la búsqueda de soluciones, conociendo que en este proceso intervienen diferentes actores sociales, económicos, políticos, e institucionales, quienes desde diversos intereses y con diferente énfasis reclaman, de una manera u otra, una "ciudad para vivir…, mejor". Con el afán de aportar en esta tarea, los investigadores del Centro de Investigaciones CIUDAD presentan este trabajo que recoge un conjunto de ensayos cortos que tratan sobre algunos elementos teórico-metodológicos que sirvieron de guía en los trabajos investigativos y de formación de recursos humanos efectuados en el Centro a propósito de la implementación del Programa FORHUM. Por ello, los textos tienen un sentido sistematizador de ideas y reflexiones con las cuales se han adelantado los trabajos de investigación y capacitación de FORHUM en Ecuador.es_ES
