El artículo analiza la gestión urbana que la Revolución Ciudadana (el Gobierno de Ecuador entre 2007 y 2017) implementó para concebir las plataformas social y financiera, ubicadas respectivamente al sur y norte de Quito. En la primera parte se realizan dos aproximaciones breves: una, teórica, sobre la perspectiva lefebvriana de la producción del espacio y otra, histórico-conceptual, referente a la evolución de la gestión urbana. En la segunda parte se describen los instrumentos que permitieron idear las plataformas gubernamentales y se analiza la gestión urbana que se propone en esta parte inicial de su conceptualización.
The article analyzes the urban management that the “Citizens’ Revolution” (government of Ecuador between 2007 and 2017) implemented to conceive the Social and Financial Platforms, located in the south and north of Quito. In the first part two approaches are made: a theoretical approximation based on the lefebvrian perspective of space production and a historical-conceptual reference to the evolution of urban management. The second part describes the instruments that allow to conceive the Government Platforms and analyses the urban management proposed in this initial part of its conceptualization.
