La presente tesis estudia la enseñanza de los saberes del rol profesional en la formación ab-initio de los controladores de tránsito aéreo civiles en Argentina. A partir de un enfoque cualitativo de carácter exploratorio, se analiza cómo se enseña y se aprende a ejercer este rol en el Centro de Instrucción, Perfeccionamiento y Experimentación (CIPE) de la Administración Nacional de Aviación Civil (ANAC). El trabajo se apoya en marcos teóricos provenientes de la didáctica profesional, la cognición situada, la cognición distribuida y la teoría de la normalización del desvío, para comprender las prácticas pedagógicas, los dispositivos formativos y las tensiones entre la normativa, la seguridad operacional y el saber práctico. Se destacan los aportes del entrenamiento por simulación en la construcción de esquemas de acción, juicio profesional y toma de decisiones en contextos inciertos. Los resultados permiten aportar herramientas conceptuales para fortalecer el diseño curricular y la formación de instructores, y visibilizar los saberes implicados en el desempeño profesional del controlador de tránsito aéreo.
This thesis explores the teaching of the knowledge related to the professional role in the ab-initio training of civil air traffic controllers in Argentina. Using a qualitative and exploratory approach, it analyzes how this role is taught and learned at the Training, Development and Experimentation Center (CIPE) of the National Civil Aviation Administration (ANAC). The study is grounded in theoretical frameworks from professional didactics, situated cognition, distributed cognition, and the theory of the normalization of deviance, in order to understand pedagogical practices, training devices, and the tensions between regulations, operational safety, and practical knowledge. The contribution of simulation-based training is emphasized in the development of action schemes, professional judgment, and decision-making in uncertain contexts. The results provide conceptual tools to enhance curriculum design and instructor training, while also making visible the types of knowledge involved in the professional performance of air traffic controllers.
