Abstract

Description

Ecuador has shown a rapid growth in its fisheries over the past decade. Much of this growth is due to the success of shrimp aquaculture, the increased harvest of cominercial marine species, as well as an increase in the large-scale fishing industry. Based on this investigation, we can say that large industries with diversified processes make relatively efficient use of waste material.
