Esta investigación problematiza al territorio como elemento constitutivo del proceso de construcción de la identidad en los jóvenes. Desde los conceptos de territorialidad y sentido de pertenencia socioterritorial se argumenta en torno al nivel de incidencia que tiene el espacio en la conformación de la propia biografía. El objeto de estudio específico de esta investigación se delimitó a un municipio que forma parte de la Zona Metropolitana de la Ciudad de México, Valle de Chalco Solidaridad. Se eligió este municipio dada su reciente creación, su conformación como lugar de asentamiento de migración interna y sus condiciones precarias.
On this research the concept of territory is understood as a constitutive element on the construction of young identity. From the categories of territoriality and their socio-territorial sense of belonging, the argument is about the level of determination that the space has on the configuration of their own biography. The main objective was delimitated on Valle del Chalco Solidaridad, a municipality on the metropolitan zone of Mexico City. This locality was chosen because (i) its recent creation, (ii) its characteristic as a place with a population from internal migration (ii) and its precarious conditions. On this research we attempt to broad and complexes the discussion about young identities. The proper conditions of this population allow them to construct their own history in terms of diverse and singular dimensions that interlaces and complements between each other. This process is influenced by structural circumstances and subjective differences that characterize each subject.
