En 1984 Bolívar Echeverría publicó un ensayo que marcaría toda su obra posterior y dejaría sentadas las bases teóricas de su teoría de la cultura. Más adelante, en sus proyectos de investigación de la década de 1990, el filósofo esbozaría su concepción de la cultura política, misma que ha sido poco estudiada; este artículo busca aportar elementos para esa discusión.
In 1984, Bolívar Echeverría published an essay that marked all of his later works and which established the theoretical bases for his theory of culture. Later, in his research projects of the 1990s, the philosopher outlined his conception of political culture, which has not been widely studied. This paper aims to provide elements for the discussion of this topic.
