En este trabajo nos focalizamos en el análisis y comparación de los supuestos que subyacen a dos tipos de prácticas humanas que son señaladas como antagónicas: el actual modelo denominado “extractivista” y las prácticas hegemónicas vinculadas a la conservación, en particular, las provenientes del área de la biología de la conservación. Para ello, hemos analizado tres supuestos comunes a ambas prácticas: su carácter global, la exclusión del vivir humano y la cosificación de la naturaleza.
In this work we focus on the analysis and comparison of the assumptions underlying two types of human practices that are identified as antagonistic: the current model called "extractivist" and the hegemonic practices related to conservation, particularly from Conservation Biology. We analyzed three common assumptions common to these practices: their global character, the exclusion of human living and the reification of nature.
