Desde los inicios de la pandemia por la covid-19, intelectuales y personal técnico urbanístico de todo el mundo elaboraron diagnósticos y profecías mediáticas sobre los cambios radicales que sufrirían las ciudades y, particularmente, sus espacios de uso público. En este texto se analizan las acciones urbanas que desempeñó el Gobierno de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires, durante la cuarta gestión del Partido Propuesta Republicana (2019-2022), como respuesta a los desafíos de la pandemia; asimismo se compara con las gestiones anteriores del mismo partido entre 2007 y 2019.
Since the beginnings of the COVID-19 pandemic, intellectuals and technical urban personnel across the world developed diagnostics and mediatic prophecies about the radical changes that cities would suffer and, particularly, spaces for public use. This text analyzes the urban changes that the Government of the City of Buenos Aires developed during the fourth period of the Republican Proposal Party (2019-2022), in response to the challenge of the pandemic. In addition, these changes are compared with the previous management of the same party between 2007 and 2019.
