dc.descriptionEsta investigación propone describir y entender el sentido que tiene la alimentación en un grupo de devotos y devotas vaishnavas, popularmente conocidos como Hare Krsna, en el Dham Eco Yoga Park ubicado en el Partido de General Rodríguez en la Provincia de Gran Buenos Aires. En la actualidad argentina existen diversos grupos sociales con prácticas alimentarias particulares que engloban diversas formas de comer, así como de preparar los alimentos. Estos son producto de una amplia herencia de los procesos de migración, pero también de los actuales procesos informativos, comunicacionales, identitarios y ligados a las creencias y prácticas religiosas. Siendo que la práctica alimentaria, y específicamente la preparación de los alimentos, adquiere un sentido ritual, devocional y espiritual en esta investigación se propone dilucidar los sentidos y formas que adquiere la sacralización de los alimentos y las prácticas asociadas en una comunidad Hare Krsna del Gran Buenos Aires. This research proposes to describe and understand the meaning of food in a group of Vaishnava devotees and devotees, popularly known as Hare Krsna, in the Dham Eco Yoga Park located in the General Rodriguez Party in the Province of Greater Buenos Aires. In Argentina today there are various social groups with particular food practices that include different ways of eating, as well as preparing food. These are the product of a broad heritage of the migration processes, but also of the current informational, communicational, identity and processes linked to religious beliefs and practices. Since food practice, and specifically the preparation of food, acquires a ritual, devotional and spiritual sense in this investigation, it is proposed to elucidate the senses and forms acquired by the sacralization of food and associated practices in a Hare Krsna community.es_ES
