Esta tesis analiza el rol de la murga estilo porteño como práctica cultural con capacidad de generar inclusión social en contextos de exclusión estructural. A través de un enfoque cualitativo y comparativo, se estudian dos casos: Los Caprichosos de Mataderos (CABA) y Los Herederos del Mate (Chaco). La pregunta general que guía esta investigación refiere a ¿Cómo y en qué condiciones las murgas funcionan como agentes de inclusión social en territorios marcados por desigualdades estructurales divergentes? La hipótesis plantea que a mayor exclusión estructural, mayor es la incidencia inclusiva de la murga, tanto en su dimensión material como simbólica. El estudio identifica que el impacto varía según el territorio y que la organización interna de cada murga incide en el tipo de inclusión predominante: cuando se observan jerarquías verticales tiende a predominar la inclusión material, mientras que estructuras horizontales promueven mayormente la inclusión simbólica.
This thesis analyzes the role of the murga porteña as a cultural practice capable of fostering social inclusion in contexts of structural exclusion. Through a qualitative and comparative approach, it examines two case studies: Los Caprichosos de Mataderos (Buenos Aires City) and Los Herederos del Mate (Chaco). The main question guiding this research is: How and under what conditions do murgas function as agents of social inclusion in territories marked by divergent structural inequalities? The central hypothesis holds that the greater the structural exclusion, the stronger the inclusive impact of the murga, both in its material and symbolic dimensions. The study finds that the impact varies according to territorial context, and that the internal organization of each murga influences the predominant type of inclusion: when vertical hierarchies are present, material inclusion tends to prevail, whereas horizontal structures mainly promote symbolic inclusion.
