La Tiroiditis de Hashimoto es la enfermedad autoinmunitaria más frecuente que afecta la glándula tiroides, provocando su destrucción progresiva a través de la acción del sistema inmunológico, que produce anticuerpos como anti-TPO y anti-TG. Esta condición afecta la producción hormonal y genera síntomas diversos. Para evaluar la presencia de estos biomarcadores, se llevó a cabo un estudio descriptivo y transversal entre enero y marzo de 2025 con 66 pacientes atendidos en un laboratorio privado. Los resultados mostraron una alta seropositividad, siendo el 36,36 % para anti-TPO y el 25,76 % para anti-TG. La presencia de anti-TPO fue estadísticamente significativa en mujeres, que constituyeron el género predominante, en un rango etario de 28 a 45 años.
Hashimoto's thyroiditis is the most common autoimmune disease affecting the thyroid gland, causing its progressive destruction through the action of the immune system, which produces antibodies such as anti-TPO and anti-TG. This condition affects hormone production and generates various symptoms. To evaluate the presence of these biomarkers, a descriptive, cross-sectional study was conducted between January and March 2025 with 66 patients seen at a private laboratory.
