En julio de 2013, participó en el foro “Seguridad y espionaje en Internet: las acechanzas del poder”, organizado por Ciespal, en el cual planteó la interrogante quién vigila al vigilante, a propósito del ciber espionaje estadounidense denunciado por Edward Snowden. A partir de esa pregunta, abordó el uso político de las tecnologías de la información y comunicación que, a su criterio, es un elemento clave para entender cómo se construye la red de redes. En esa construcción, está también, el papel de la ciudadanía como contrapoder.
Em julho de 2013, participou do fórum “Segurança e espionagem na Internet: a vigilancia do poder”, organizado pelo Ciespal, no qual levantou a questão “quem vigia o vigilante”, a propósito da ciberespionagem estadunidense denunciada por Edward Snowden. A partir dessa pergunta, abordou o uso político das tecnologias da informação e da comunicação que, a seu critério, é um elemento chave para entender como se constrói a rede de redes. Nessa construção, estã o papel da cidadania como contrapoder.
In July 2013, he participated in the forum “Security and espionage on the Internet: the abuses of power” organized by Ciespal, which raised the question who is watching the watchers, concerning the cyber espionage denounced by Edward Snowden. From that question, spoke about the political use of information technologies and communication, in its discretion, is key to understanding how to build the network of networks.
