En este artículo se revisa la trayectoria de Ciespal que durante 60 años ha sido faro de la comunicación en América Latina. Detalla su identidad y relevancia ya que como ninguna otra institución especializada en comunicación, Ciespal ha sido para los estudiosos de la comunicación un horizonte de referencia y por esto analiza su capital histórico.
This article reviews the trajectory of Ciespal, which for 60 years has been a beacon of communication in Latin America. It details its identity and relevance since, like no other institution specialized in communication, Ciespal has been a reference horizon for communication scholars and therefore analyzes its historical capital.
Este artigo analisa a trajetória do Ciespal, que há 60 anos é um farol de comunicação na América Latina. Ele detalha sua identidade e relevância, uma vez que, como nenhuma outra instituição especializada em comunicação, o Ciespal tem sido um horizonte de referência para estudiosos da comunicação e, portanto, analisa seu capital histórico.
