| dc.description | El presente artículo tiene como objetivo primario clasificar la experiencia uruguaya de post - dictadura dentro del esquema teórico de la justicia transicional. Específicamente, busca establecer si en Uruguay puede afirmarse que se implementaron o no mecanismos de justicia transicional. Luego de señalar un grave problema epistemológico asociado con la emergencia del concepto de justicia transicional, se repasa brevemente la extensión de dicho problema, una vez que este enfoque comenzó a aplicarse en América Latina. Acto seguido, se exponen algunas dimensiones de análisis que permiten establecer las condiciones de posibilidad de la justicia transicional en general. A continuación, se estudia el caso uruguayo, mostrando que no puede ser entendido como un caso positivo de justicia transicional. Finalmente, el artículo se cierra con un apartado de reflexiones finales. | es_EC |
| dc.description | This article aims primarily to classify the Uruguayan experience of post - dictatorship within the theoretical framework of transitional justice. Specifically, it seeks to establish if it can be said that transitional justice mechanisms were implemented or not in Uruguay. After pointing out a serious epistemological problem associated with the emergence of the concept of transitional justice, it briefly reviews the extent of that problem once this approach began to be implemented in Latin America. Then, some dimensions of analysis that establish the conditions of possibility of transitional justice in general are exposed. After that, the Uruguayan case is studied, showing that it cannot be understood as a positive case of transitional justice. Finally, the article ends with a section of concluding remarks. | es_EC |
