| dc.description | Este artículo analiza la marcha que se realizó en diez provincias de Ecuador entre el 8 y el 21 de marzo de 2012. Se pregunta si acaso la marcha logró posicionar en el escenario político la crítica a la producción minera y si constituyó un momento de inflexión del ciclo de reflujo que vivieron los movimientos sociales desde principios de siglo. Frente a la primera interrogante, la respuesta es negativa. Respecto a la segunda, se plantea que más que una inflexión lo que tuvo lugar es una transformación en la naturaleza de los movimientos sociales. El artículo resume un estudio que examina fuentes documentales (material audiovisual, entrevistas y análisis de discurso del presidente Rafael Correa). La orientación teórica se basa en un enfoque de análisis de repertorios, inspirado en la teoría de la estructura de oportunidades políticas. | es_ES |
| dc.description | This article analyses the demonstration which took place in ten provinces of Ecuador between the 8th and 21st March 2012. It inquires whether this social protest positioned in the political arena a criticism towards mining production and if it constituted a turning point in the reflux cycle of social movements since the beginning of the century. The answer for the first question is no. Conversely, regarding the second one, the article suggests that the demonstration reveals a transformation in the nature of social movements. The article summarizes a large study which examines documentary sources (audiovisual material, interviews and analysis of discourse of President Rafael Correa). The theoretical orientation retakes the repertoire analysis approach, inspired by the theory of the structure of political opportunities. | es_ES |
