Description
El sindicalismo ecuatoriano tuvo un declive pronunciado después de los años noventa del pasado siglo. Los cambios productivos y la flexibilización laboral incidieron en una disminución de la afiliación sindical. Las actuales estructuras sindicales sustentadas en la organización laboral por empresa carecen de una real capacidad de negociación. La posibilidad de un cambio podría venir del fomento a organizaciones sindicales por rama de trabajo que tendrían una mayor capacidad de agregación y representación de intereses de los trabajadores.
