Hoy en día existe en el mundo un nivel mínimo de calidad y creo que un porcentaje de cine latino lo alcanza. Sin embargo, mucha gente tiene prejuicios en cuanto al cine producido en Latinoamérica, empezando por el público, quien definitivamente prefiere una superproducción norteamericana o europea. Existe un problema en cuanto a la imagen y percepción que tenemos los latinos acerca de nuestro propio cine y éste es el obstáculo más grande que enfrentan los cineastas locales al momento de exhibir sus películas.
