La presente tesis es una investigación que busca demostrar las tensiones políticas, intereses estratégicos y realidades discursivas, en el caso de Israel e Irán, en torno al tema nuclear. En un primer lugar, el documento analiza las tres variables principales para explicar el desarrollo y la evolución del programa nuclear iraní, estas variables son el poder, los intereses y las identidades. Estas son analizadas desde dos puntos de vista teóricos distintos que son el realismo y el constructivismo. Posteriormente, se realiza un análisis de la situación, contexto e historia del desarrollo del programa nuclear iraní y de las relaciones entre Irán e Israel, lo que da una perspectiva importante para poder entender el analizas del contexto actual. De igual manera se muestra el involucramiento de terceros actores como son Rusia, China y Estados Unidos dentro de la problemática.
