De las trayectorias sociales en la configuración formativa de buenos docentes, maestros y maestras de escuela primaria, de eso trata esta tesis. Más específicamente de cómo actuó/actúa la experiencia vivida en los itinerarios no escolares de tales trayectorias en el docente que se llega a ser. Esta investigación no pretende explicar, sino comprender e interpretar la relación entre tal configuración y dichas trayectorias. Por otro lado, espera aportar elementos que contribuyan a configurar el campo de la formación docente desde una concepción más amplia, es decir incorporando a los estudios clásicos – de las trayectorias escolares, biografía escolar, formación inicial y continua y desempeños profesionales– el de las trayectorias sociales. Para alcanzar nuestro propósito, desde un enfoque biográfico narrativo, hemos trabajado con seis maestros y maestras de escuela primaria, reconstruyendo sus trayectorias sociales a partir de entrevistas en profundidad, haciendo foco particularmente en aquellos itinerarios no escolares recorridos. Algunos supuestos de los que partimos son, por un lado, que las trayectorias sociales limitan, habilitan y/o direccionan a las personas y también imprimen o dejan marcas y huellas singulares en ellas. Por otro, que las trayectorias sociales –en tanto un continuo de experiencias-, al ser recuperadas por cada sujeto, actúan como experiencia formativa. Por ello pensamos que en tales trayectorias podemos encontrar algunas claves que nos permitan comprender ese “plus diferencial”, “eso” que distingue a algunos maestros y maestras como buenos docentes. Dicho de otro modo, en la diferencia aportada por los itinerarios no escolares recorridos –no comunes a la trayectoria del colectivo profesional- hemos supuesto y buscado esa “distinción”. Como conclusión general de este estudio, podemos señalar que las experiencias no escolares contienen un potencial formador, es decir pueden dar forma y actuar en los docentes en tanto estos cuenten con oportunidades para evocarlas y recuperar también los saberes acumulados en sus trayectorias para transformarlos en saber pedagógico. In this proyect, we will focus on the social trajectories regarding the training settings of good teachers —primary school teachers. We will analyze, specifically, how the experience lived in non-school itineraries of the social trajectories influenced and influences the teacher to be. By this research, we do not try to explain, but to understand and interpret the relationship between the training settings and the social trajectories of the teachers. Moreover, we hope to provide with elements that help to establish the teacher education field from a broaden point of view. We will include the social trajectories studies to the basic teaching studies —school trajectories, school biography, initial and continuous developement, and professional performance. In order to achieve our purpose, we have worked, from a biographical narrative approach, with six primary school teachers, rebuilding their social trajectories from interviews in which we focused particularly in their non-school itineraries. On the one hand, the social trajectories limit, prepare and direct people, and, besides, leave singular footprints. On the other hand, the social trajectories —as a chain of experiences, — when retaken by each subject, act as an educational experience. That is why we believe that in those trajectories we may find keys to help us understand “the differential plus, “that thing” that makes some teachers good teachers. In other words, we have looked for “that thing” bearing in mind the differences non-school itineraries —different from the professional collective trajectory— added to the teacher development. In conclusion, we may say that non-school experiences come along with a formative potential, that is they can shape the teachers and act on them, as long as they have the opportunities to make use of their experiences and also to retake the knowledge gained in their trajectories in order to transform it in pedagogical knowledge.
