Si bien el enfoque de género implica no sólo hablar de mujeres, resulta inevitable que se tenga que empezar halando de ellas y de su identidad. Al referirnos al género, no podemos solo encuadrarnos en el campo de las investigaciones de tipo académico y en el ámbito de la producción social de conocimientos, sino que adicionalmente debemos comportar una actitud vital, una especie de sentimiento de co-pertenencia en relación al objeto (sujeto) de reflexión y su problemática. Y por ello, siendo este artículo de un hombre que ha optado por arriesgarse a opinar sobre un tema que ha sido generalmente materia de opiniones desde las propias mujeres, recurro a las preguntas que se formula el comunicólogo colombiano ornar Rincón en un reciente trabajo suyo sobre mujeres y comunicación': ¿es pertinente que un hombre ensaye hablar de mujeres?, ¿tenemos los hombres derecho al intento por aprehender y comprender lo femenino? La respuesta a la que llega es sumamente sugestiva: "la mujer -dice Rincón se ha convertido en el agente comunicativo más interesante, innovador y creativo que se ha construido y promovido en los últimos treinta años, sujeto que ha logrado reformar y transformar la forma que tenían los medios, les ha dado un nuevo escenario –el de la sensibilidad- a los productos culturales de la época"
