Este trabajo de investigación realiza un análisis sobre la relación que existe entre el cambio climático y el desarrollo sostenible con perspectiva nacional de Colombia. Se encontró que entre 2010 y 2020 Colombia elaboró un marco normativo e institucional suficiente para avanzar en la implementación conjunta de la Agenda 2030 y el Acuerdo de París a nivel nacional y subnacional. No obstante, el país requiere superar barreras como la desarticulación institucional, el incumplimiento reiterado de compromisos nacionales y las decisiones económicas incoherentes. Uno de los caminos para avanzar sobre esta situación, podría ser la incorporación de un enfoque de derechos humanos como acelerador de la acción climática y de los ODS. Para dar cumplimiento a los objetivos de la investigación, se utilizó el método de investigación cualitativo con un enfoque deductivo. Esta tesis está compuesta por una introducción, tres capítulos, una sección de referencias bibliográficas y un anexo. Para su diseño, se buscó dar equilibrio en la extensión del análisis de cada una de las secciones, subsecciones y apartados y un balance en su presentación. Se utilizó un enfoque dogmático de investigación mediante el cual se analizaron marcos, teorías y conceptos globales y regionales que permitieron posteriormente hacer el análisis normativo, de instrumentos y de políticas del caso colombiano. En todo el trabajo de investigación se analizaron las dos agendas internacionales tanto de forma separada, para conocer su génesis y características, como conjunta para identificar sus interrelaciones y perspectivas.
