El objetivo general de esta investigación consistió en analizar la permeabilidad o receptibilidad de feminismos decolonial y comunitario en dos proyectos de la cooperación vasca en territorios de la Amazonía ecuatoriana, buscando visibilizar la contribución que hace una ONGD vasca concreta a ese cambio político y sociohistórico apoyando a comunidades indígenas a materializar sus planes de vida en alineación con los principios y del paradigma del Sumak Kawsay. Desde ahí se buscó identificar aquellos conceptos y categorías que aportan un enfoque contrahegemónico y crítico con ciertas prácticas consideradas neocolonialistas, y que a lo largo de las últimas décadas ha marcado la agenda de desarrollo y la producción de discursos vinculados a la idea de solidaridad. La relación entre los feminismos y el paradigma del Buen Vivir se puede analizar desde los aportes de la académica y activista ecuatoriana Sofía Zaragocin (2017), quien postula que el Buen Vivir está replanteando la relación con la naturaleza y la alteridad en general, y esto afecta a la conceptualización que se haga del enfoque de género de manera significativa.
