El estudio realizado se centra en analizar el proceso de empoderamiento femenino para la toma de decisiones colectivas en el marco del Comité para la Defensa del Agua y del Páramo de Santurbán, en este contexto el proceso de empoderamiento femenino para la toma de decisiones colectivas es un tema relevante que implica el fortalecimiento de las mujeres desde su participación y liderazgo para la gestión y cuidado del medio ambiente y el establecimiento de accione de gobernanza ambiental.
