Description:
El presente trabajo busca determinar (de manera panorámica) como el discurso
populista de Chávez podría haber logrado trascender las fronteras nacionales
e influenciar en el discurso de líderes de la región, específicamente Ecuador; y si ese mismo discurso ha tendido a expandirse a sectores de la sociedad civil de los países mencionados. En este sentido valdría la pena realizar una aproximación los elementos que aparentemente podrían ser más determinantes
a un posible efecto de demostración del chavismo, y entender si han sido los factores de "populismo radical",
o más bien los lineamientos vinculados
a la "oportunidad revolucionaria" (Ellner 2005), los que han logrado establecer
mayores parámetros para que el fenómeno pueda influenciar otros casos.
